STANLEY COUNTY COMMISSION

MINUTES

SEPTEMBER 13, 2012

 

Meeting of the Stanley County Commission was called to order at 7:46 p.m. (CDT) by Chairman Dennis Booth with Marsha Davenport, DD Jacobson, Auditor Karen Sharp, Don Wiedemer, Lance Nixon and Peggy Dougherty present.  Chairman Booth declared a quorum present. 

AGENDA:  Motion by Davenport, second by Jacobson, to approve the Agenda.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried. 

GAME, FISH & PARKS AGREEMENT:  Motion by Jacobson, second by Davenport to authorize Chairman Booth to sign the agreement with the Department of Game, Fish & Parks.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried. 

CASH TRANSFERS:  Motion by Davenport, second by Jacobson, for Cash Transfer to Road and Bridge in the sum of $13,564.90 to correct funds previously receipted into General Funds.  All voted Aye.  Motion Carried. 

Motion by Jacobson, second by Davenport, for Cash Transfer to Road and Bridge in the sum of  $55,000.00 for work performed by the Highway Department at the Fairgrounds.  All votedAye.  Motion Carried. 

Motion by Davenport, second by Jacobson, for Cash Transfer to Road and Bridge in the sum of  $164,461.14 as per 2012 Budget.  All voted Aye.  Motion Carried. 

Motion by Jacobson, second by Davenport, for Cash Transfer to Fire Fighting in the sum of $33,966.33 as per 2012 Budget.  All voted Aye.  Motion Carried. 

Motion by Davenport, second by Jacobson, for Cash Transfer to Emergency and Disaster in the sum of $15,000.00 as per 2012 Budget and unanticipated expenses.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried. 

Motion by Jacobson, second by Davenport, for Cash Transfer to Domestic Abuse in the sum of $1,300.00 as per 2012 Budget and unanticipated expenses.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried. 

AUTOMATIC SUPPLEMENT:  Motion by Jacobson, second by Davenport, for Automatic Supplement to Fairgrounds financed by FEMA Grant receipts in the sum of $15,204.31.  Davenport and Booth voting Aye.  Jacobson voting Nay.  Motion carried. 

TREASURER:  Motion by Davenport, second by Jacobson, to accept the resignation of Treasurer Sonny Harrowa effective September 20, 2012.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried. 

Motion by Jacobson, second by Davenport, to appoint Peggy Dougherty acting Stanley County Treasurer as of September 21 to December 31, 2012.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried. 

BUDGET:  Budget figures were reviewed by Commission, Auditor Sharp and Wiedemer. 

ADJOURN:  Motion by Jacobson, second by Davenport, to adjourn the meeting at 9:00 p.m. until Thursday, September 20, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. (CDT).  All Aye.  Motion carried.
