STANLEY COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES

January 25, 2022

The special meeting of the Stanley County Commission was called to order at 5:00 p.m. (CDT) by Chairman Dana Iversen with Commissioners Dennis Booth, Mike Kenzy, Craig Heller and Sonny Harrowa present. Also present was Highway Superintendent Lee Smith, Brosz Engineering, Inc. Kyle Kurth, AGE Corp. Gerad Johnson, Hollaway Construction Brian Olson and Levi, Morris, Inc. Mark Morris and Auditor Philena Burtch. The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.

AGENDA:  Motion by Sonny Harrowa, second by Craig Heller, to approve the Agenda. All voted Aye.  Motion Carried.

Open Sealed Bids – Bad River Road Structure No. 59-219-391: Hollaway Bridge & Culvert, Inc. $178,714.63; Sharpe Enterprises $186,697.00; A.G.E. Corporation $218,169.00; Midwest Contracting, Inc. $248,400.15; Morris, Inc. $265,696.15; SLE, Inc. $277,837.00; Anderson Contractors $489,920.00.

Discussion: Commission Booth informed the Board that AMR (American Medical Response, Inc.) will not be re-bidding for the ambulance service in our area for 2023. The Ambulance Board will be advertising request for proposal.

ADJOURN: Motion by Craig Heller, second by Mike Kenzy, to adjourn at 5:46 P.M. All voted Aye.  Motion Carried.
