STANLEY COUNTY COMMISSION

MINUTES

October 13, 2014

 

The special meeting of the Stanley County Commission was called to order at 5:15 p.m. (CDT) by Chairman Brian Scott with Commissioners Scott Deal and Sonny Harrowa present. Commissioners Dennis Booth and Dana Iversen were absent. Also present was Deputy Auditor Philena Edwards.

 

AGENDA:  Motion by Harrowa, second by Deal to approve the Agenda.  All voted Yea.  Motion Carried.

 

Fairgrounds:  Johnny’s Crow’s Nest; The Casey Tibbs Foundation received a bill for taxes owed on the material for the new crow’s nest. Deal suggested that the county pays it. Scott will check into the matter more.

 

During the last Fairgrounds Board Meeting, Michelle Barrett, a current Fairgrounds Board Member, was appointed as interim to oversee future venue events along with the Fairgrounds Board. Deal suggested that the county pay her for the extra work she will be doing. It was also discussed about possibly hiring a maintenance person.

 

ADJOURN:   Motion by Deal, second by Harrowa to adjourn at 6:00 p.m. (CDT).  All voted Yea.  Motion Carried.
