The special meeting of the Stanley County Commissioners was called to order at 8:33 a.m. by Chairman Jacobson with Commissioners Booth, Iversen and Scott present.  Director of Equalization Don Wiedemer, Auditor Kris Kroll, and Highway Superintendent Leo Sullivan were also present.

HIGHWAY DEPT:  Sullivan wants to hire John Hillmer as summer help to mow and haul gravel.  Motion by Booth, seconded by Iversen to hire Hillmer at a rate of $10.75/hour.  Motion amended by Booth and seconded  by Iversen to add that Hillmer will work regular Highway Department hours and he will work through Dec. 31, 2011, as long as there is work, at Sullivan’s discretion.  All voted aye. Motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT:  Motion by Booth, seconded by Scott to adjourn.  Meeting adjourned at 8:45 a.m.
