MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

The Stanley County Board of Equalization was called to order at 4:59 p.m. (CDT) by Chairman Scott with members Dennis Booth, Scott Deal and Dana Iversen present.  Ronnie Heckenlaible was absent.  Others in attendance were Auditor Karen Sharp, State’s Attorney Tom P. Maher, Director of Equalization Ron Nagle, Deputy Director of Equalization James Roberts, Dennis Hanson of Legend LLC, Ruth Hohrman and Harlan Hohrman and Mark Mayer.

Members of the Board subscribed to the Oath of Office as Board of Equalization.

DISABLED AND SENIOR CITIZENS’ TAX FREEZES:  Motion by Iversen, second by Deal, to change  assessment valuations for Senior and Disabled Citizens’ Tax Freezes as presented.  All Voted Aye.  Motion Carried.

LISTING OF EXEMPT PROPERTIES:  Motion by Booth, second by Deal, to accept and approve Listing of Exempt Properties as presented.  All Voted Aye.  Motion Carried.

ADJUSTMENTS AND CORRECTIONS TO DOE BOOKS:  None.

ADDITION OF OMITTED PROPERTIES:  None.

APPEALS: Harlan and Ruth Hohrman, Record 6884:  Motion by Deal, second by Booth, to approve valuation of $76,418.00.  All Voted Aye.  Motion Carried.

Mark and Darla Mayer, Record 9294:  Motion by Booth, second by Iversen, to approve value of $1.32 per sq. foot.  All Voted Aye.  Motion Carried.

Dennis Hanson of Legend LLC, Record 9172:  Motion by Iversen, second by Deal, to deny appeal.  All Voted Aye.  Motion Carried.
