STANLEY COUNTY COMMISSION
PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING
APRIL 10, 2012

The Stanley County Commission Planning and Zoning Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Dennis Booth at 6:30 p.m., with DD Jacobson, Marsha Davenport, Dana Iversen, Brian Scott, Director of Equalization Don Wiedemer, Karen Sharp, Auditor, and Dennis Hanson present.

 AGENDA:  Motion by Scott, second by Davenport, to approve the Agenda.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried.

 Discussion was had regarding Dennis Hanson’s Objection to Real Property Assessment for Teton Island Addition Lot 8, City of Fort Pierre.

 Motion by Jacobson, second by Iversen, to reduce valuation to $839,661.00 based on tax reduction recommendation by Director of Equalization Don Wiedemer.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried.

 Discussion was had regarding Dennis Hanson’s Objection to Real Property Assessment for Lot 14, Blk. 1, Chantier Heights Subdivision.

 Motion by Jacobson, second by Davenport, to reduce valuation to $49,196.00.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried.

 Motion by Iversen, second by Scott, to acknowledge the 100%  veteran service-connected disability of Donald Delaney.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried.

 Motion by Scott, second by Davenport, to accept disabled and senior citizens’ tax freezes.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried.

 Motion by Iversen, second by Jacobson, to accept tax exempt properties.  All voted Aye.  Motion carried.

 Motion by Iversen, second by Scott, to adjourn at 7:35 p.m.  All voted Aye.
